Right at this very moment I'm sitting and charging all of the electronics that I own in preparation for Saturday and thinking of all the random things I still need to do.
Right now I'm focusing on charging all of my electronics, especially the ones I'm not using right away and then doing a quick clean of my room, in the hopes that I'll be able to keep it clean until Friday night. It's only now that I realize I have a ton of things that need charging, but not enough plugs to use them. I'm the opposite of everyone else and I seem to be bringing more electronic items than anything else, but it's because it only seems like I'm doing that. In fact, with the exception of my gaming consoles, really everything fits together and for what I plan on doing when I'm down and traveling around Lake Buena Vista (the true location of Walt Disney World) and the Orlando, it all makes sense. Maybe not to someone else, but it makes plenty of sense to me.
I guess that brings me to another thought that's going through my head - video blogging is really hard. I'm hoping it's only like this because I'm just starting, but you really need to sit and think Oh hey, maybe I should vlog right now. It might not be a significant moment, but just anything to get yourself to video what you're doing. It also doesn't help that I'm a shy vlogger and I'm absolutely terrified of looking weird, which is ironic because I do some weird things when I'm out in public, such as awkwardly dancing at Great Adventure. I'm sorry, but if that's not weird then I don't know what it is. I'm figuring because I want to take and make a video every day, I'll start getting into the swing of things.
All of Saturday and Sunday will probably be when I start to get into it. I'll be completely out of my element so it won't really matter that I'm talking to a camera, plus everyone else has their camera out so I'm not too worried. I'm already sitting and thinking of everything I really want to take video of just so I know when I get there I'll make sure to do it. The two days that I have to myself I plan on taking to my advantage and doing everything I've never done before. If I can find that list, I'll make sure to post it here but I have to do some searching for it. It's not an exceptionally long list and can be done probably all in one day if I really wanted to, but I don't so I'll take both days to do it.
"Caitlyn, you're going to be a cast member! You don't need to get everything done right now!"
That statement has been said so many times by so many people lately. Yes, I'm going to be a cast member, but this will be the only time I get to do this as a guest in probably a really long time. Saturday will be the first time I'm going to the park in six years! So, who knows how long it'll be before I can go to the park being something other than a cast member? I really plan on doing whatever I can this weekend, then maybe do a little traveling around Monday and Tuesday with my roommate, whoever she may be. In my mind, provided neither of us are ridiculously tired, I would like to go to Downtown Disney and then maybe go resort hopping Tuesday, or just take a ride on the I-Drive Trolley. Anything, just to get out before Traditions which should be on Wednesday.
Oh, on one more (final) note for this entry, here's to hoping I have the morning session for Traditions. I don't mind waking up early for it at all.
